Eating Disorder Recovery Coaching in Dallas & Virtual
Practical, personalized support for navigating meals, body image, and everyday recovery challenges. Together, we’ll work on turning the tools from treatment into steps you can take in your daily life.
Support for Eating Disorder Recovery Between Treatment Appointments
You may know what your treatment team is asking you to do and still find it difficult to follow through alone. Motivation can fade between appointments. Eating disorder patterns may feel familiar, even when you’re unhappy with how much space they take up in your life.
Coaching gives you room to talk openly about those experiences, including the thoughts or behaviors that feel difficult to share. Together, we’ll explore what makes change feel hard, reconnect with your reasons for recovery, and practice taking steps that help you regain a sense of choice and ownership in your life.

SERVICE 02Meal Support Sessions
50 minutes | $140 | Virtual or in person in Dallas
Meals can bring up anxiety, guilt, or eating disorder thoughts, even when you know what your treatment team recommends. You don’t have to work through those moments alone.
I offer support before, during, or after meals and snacks, helping you practice following your dietitian’s guidance and approaching challenging foods. Together, we’ll prepare for what feels difficult, work through thoughts as they arise, and reflect afterward. You’ll have encouragement and accountability while building confidence putting recovery into practice.
SERVICE 04Family & Caregiver Support Sessions
50 minutes | $140 | Virtual or in person in Dallas
Supporting someone with an eating disorder can leave you worried, confused, or unsure whether you’re helping. What you see around food may reveal only part of what your loved one is experiencing.
These sessions offer space to ask questions, understand the thoughts and emotions beneath eating disorder behaviors, and work through difficult situations. I’ll help you practice communicating and offering support that connects with your loved one’s treatment goals. We can meet with caregivers separately or together with the person in recovery, when appropriate.
SERVICE 03Recovery Exposure Sessions
Typically 50 minutes | $140, with adjustments for session length | Virtual or in person in Dallas
Grocery shopping, eating at a restaurant, or attending a celebration can feel overwhelming when the eating disorder wants everything planned and predictable. You may want more freedom but feel unsure how to begin.
Together, we’ll choose a challenge connected to your recovery goals and prepare for what feels hard. I’ll support you as you practice using recovery tools in the situation, then help you reflect afterward. We’ll use each experience to build confidence and identify where you need continued support.
Your First StepRecovery Coaching Intake Session
50 minutes | $140
Before we begin ongoing coaching, we’ll start with a paid intake session. You don’t need to have everything figured out. This is time to share your story, talk about what feels difficult, and explore what you want support with.
I’ll ask about your recovery history, current treatment team, and goals so I can understand your needs and guide our work thoughtfully. Every new client begins here, whether we’re focusing on individual coaching, meals, recovery exposures, or family and caregiver support.
Your intake takes place after our consultation call and once you’ve reviewed and signed the paperwork.
Want More Consistent Recovery Support?Four-Session Coaching Bundle
Four 50-minute sessions | $520
It takes time to talk openly, understand what keeps you stuck, and practice doing things differently. A four-session bundle gives us consistent opportunities to build that understanding and turn your goals into actions.
We’ll work through what happens between sessions, including the steps that felt encouraging and the moments that were harder than expected. Each appointment gives us a chance to strengthen motivation, adjust your goals, and build on the skills you’re practicing.
You don’t need to demonstrate progress every time we meet. Honest conversations about where you are help us make the work useful.
What to ExpectHow to Get Started With Recovery Coaching
-
We’ll begin with a consultation call to discuss your needs and whether coaching is a good fit. If we decide to work together, I’ll send you the paperwork to review and sign before your intake session.
-
Your first session is a paid intake appointment. We’ll get to know each other, discuss where you are in recovery, and explore the support you’re looking for. Everyone begins with an intake session, whether you’re seeking individual coaching or support with meals, body image, or other recovery challenges.
-
After intake, we’ll begin working on your recovery goals through personalized sessions. Together, we’ll practice recovery skills, navigate everyday challenges, and build on the guidance from your treatment team.
Payment & Insurance for Recovery Coaching
Harper Reed Coaching is an out-of-network, self-pay service. You’ll pay directly for your coaching sessions, and I don’t bill insurance on your behalf.
We’ll review session rates and payment arrangements before your paid intake so you know what to expect. If you’re considering using out-of-network benefits, please check with your insurance provider about whether your plan covers eating disorder recovery coaching; reimbursement isn’t guaranteed.
