What to ExpectHow to Get Started With Recovery Coaching
-
We’ll begin with a consultation call to discuss your needs and whether coaching is a good fit. If we decide to work together, I’ll send you the paperwork to review and sign before your intake session.
-
Your first session is a paid intake appointment. We’ll get to know each other, discuss where you are in recovery, and explore the support you’re looking for. Everyone begins with an intake session, whether you’re seeking individual coaching or support with meals, body image, or other recovery challenges.
-
After intake, we’ll begin working on your recovery goals through personalized sessions. Together, we’ll practice recovery skills, navigate everyday challenges, and build on the guidance from your treatment team.
Payment & Insurance for Recovery Coaching
Harper Reed Coaching is an out-of-network, self-pay service. You’ll pay directly for your coaching sessions, and I don’t bill insurance on your behalf.
We’ll review session rates and payment arrangements before your paid intake so you know what to expect. If you’re considering using out-of-network benefits, please check with your insurance provider about whether your plan covers eating disorder recovery coaching; reimbursement isn’t guaranteed.
